Bill Komoski names his paintings dates. I’d say they are subdued diaries of trips into the fluctuating beauty of drifting layers pulsing, shifting, dripping, weaving, oops dead end, start again. The space is generally half full and half empty. Time is ebbing. Perhaps theory with poetic license. I’m reminded of the incandescence experiences within the soft darkness of a depravation chamber, where one travels through sensations without words. In keeping with the fluctuations in the work, two paintings and two drawings will be exhibited, however alternating; only one of each will be viewable each day.
